Magic: The Gathering (1997) is MicroProse's video game adaptation of the card game, commonly called Shandalar after its setting; players travel the land collecting cards while trying to defeat five color-aligned wizards and the planeswalker Arzakon. This repository preserves and extends the source code of the 1997 Shandalar game, with community-contributed cards added covering sets released up through 2015; it runs on Windows via Shandalar.exe.
How it differs from the original
The project adds Magic: The Gathering cards released well after the original 1997 game, extending its playable card pool up through 2015-era sets.
Getting started
Download a branch of the repository as a ZIP (or clone it), then run Shandalar.exe from the extracted folder on Windows.
