Super Mario Bros. is Nintendo's 1985 NES platform game in which Mario, or Luigi in multiplayer, travels through the Mushroom Kingdom to rescue Princess Toadstool from King Koopa. Super Mario Bros. X is the released source code for version 1.3 of this game, which includes a level editor for building and sharing custom maps; the project is now archived and no longer maintained.
