About
Ultimate Play the Game was a British studio, later known for becoming Rare, that published a series of ZX Spectrum action and adventure games in the early-to-mid 1980s, including Jetpac, Atic Atac, Sabre Wulf, and Knight Lore. This project is a set of ZX Spectrum disassemblies of several Ultimate Play the Game titles — Atic Atac, Cookie, Jetpac, Lunar Jetman, Pssst, Sabre Wulf, and Tranz Am — produced with the SkoolKit disassembly toolkit, with browsable hexadecimal and decimal versions of each published online.
Getting started
The published disassemblies can be browsed online in hexadecimal or decimal form. Building the latest in-development version requires installing SkoolKit (or cloning it and pointing an environment variable at it) and running a build script; per the project's own disclaimer, players need to own the original games in order to disassemble their code.
