About
Micro Machines is a 1991 racing game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Codemasters and published by Camerica, themed around Galoob's Micro Machines toy vehicles racing through miniaturized, everyday environments. Yorg is an open-source, third-person arcade racing game built with the Panda3D engine for Windows, macOS, and Linux, requiring Python 3.x to run from source. It offers 8 drivers, 8 cars, and 7 tracks, along with AI opponents, power-ups, weapons, championship mode, and both online and local multiplayer; the current stable release is 0.11.1.
Getting started
Clone the repository recursively (it depends on two additional submodules) and build the required assets and a Python virtual environment as documented, then launch the game from its main script. Players on slower machines should disable shaders and reduce the number of cars for better performance.
