About
Cascade FX is a Tetris-like puzzle game with software-rendered 3D graphics, written in C with the liberis library for the NEC PC-FX console. Currently at version 0.5, the author considers it a small, largely finished project and has focused remaining work on bug fixes and speed improvements rather than new features.
How it differs from the original
Unlike standard Tetris, falling pieces are rendered with software 3D graphics rather than flat 2D blocks.
Getting started
On real PC-FX hardware it can be run from a flash cartridge such as David Shadoff's (though this won't provide CD-audio music) or burned to a CD-R on an older CLV drive; controls are the D-pad to move pieces and A or Up to rotate them.
