Cloned Games

Anodyne: 2 Open Source Clones Compared

AnodyneSharp is a C#/MonoGame rewrite built directly from Anodyne's own released source code, adding specific gameplay changes the original doesn't have: a visible broom-selection indicator with faster switching between brooms, minimap markers for unopened chests and floor numbers, a fix so returning to a dungeon always sends the player back to the screen they entered from, and bugfixes for known softlocks and glitches. The original Anodyne repository is the official, complete source-and-assets release from Analgesic Productions themselves, built with FlashDevelop/Adobe AIR rather than MonoGame.
