The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask: 3 Open Source Clones Compared

This decomp project reconstructs the original ROM purely from analysis of the released game — contributors who have accessed leaked Nintendo source material are barred from participating — and produces a byte-identical NTSC-US 1.0 ROM for use in an emulator rather than a PC port. 2 Ship 2 Harkinian and Zelda 64: Recompiled instead deliver enhanced native ports through different methods: 2 Ship 2 Harkinian runs on the libultraship engine (the same foundation as the Ocarina of Time 'Ship of Harkinian' port) with switchable DirectX 11/OpenGL/Metal backends and a custom .o2r/.otr asset-pack system, while Zelda 64: Recompiled statically recompiles the game via N64: Recompiled and renders through RT64, with built-in drag-and-drop mod support including a randomizer.
