About

FTEQW is an advanced, portable open-source engine for idTech-based games — including Quake, Quake II, Quake III, and Hexen II — with its own QuakeC compiler (FTEQCC). It supports single- and multiplayer, an extensive range of map/model/image formats, plugins for FFmpeg and Bullet/ODE physics, split-screen local multiplayer, Opus/Speex voice chat, and servers with hundreds of players, running on Windows, Linux, OpenBSD, and more.
