Harvest Moon 2.0

About
This project is directly inspired by Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon, an entry in the Harvest Moon farming-sim series. Harvest Moon 2.0 is a farming-sim clone built in the Godot engine, covering core systems like planting/watering/harvesting crops, buying and selling in town, sleeping to advance time, an energy meter, changing weather, and a Minecraft-inspired inventory with a save system. Several areas, including the interiors of the caves, inn, and shop, are not yet accessible, though the shop can still be used from outside its door.
How it differs from the original
It uses a custom, Minecraft-inspired inventory system (equip items via the hotbar, number keys, mouse wheel, or shift-click) rather than the original series' systems, and several interior locations are missing entirely.
Getting started
Most controls are explained in-game; hotbar items can be equipped by clicking them directly, pressing number keys, scrolling the mouse wheel, or holding shift with the arrow keys, and the shop can be accessed by standing at its door and pressing E even though its interior isn't modeled yet.
History
The project began as a group project for a college game-development class with six team members; the current developer later reworked nearly every system solo as a senior/capstone project.
Known limitations
- content: Interior of caves, inn, and shop are currently inaccessible.

- Credits
- Two former teammates are still credited for specific assets that remain in the solo build: the main menu design and several of the tilesets used.
