This is Raven Software's official release of the Heretic source code, originally under Activision's 1996–1998 copyright, published for people to learn from and modify. The DMX sound library isn't included due to licensing, so the code won't link until those sound calls are replaced or removed.
History
The source was released under the GNU GPLv2 in September 2008, after originally being developed under Activision's 1996–1998 copyright.
