About
Meridian 59 is a 1996 game developed by Archetype Interactive and published by The 3DO Company, the first 3D graphical massively multiplayer online role-playing game. This is a community fork of the Meridian 59 codebase tied to the German Server 112 (meridian59.de), descended from the OpenMeridian fork of the original source release. It contains the client, server, game code, Blakod compiler, room editor and tools; the graphics and music are not included and come with the game client. Builds are done with Visual Studio on Windows.
Getting started
Build with Visual Studio, start the server from its output folder and create an admin account from its Administration tab. The client needs graphics from an installed game client, which the build copies over automatically, and is pointed at the local server with command-line flags.
