About
Super Mario Bros. is Nintendo's 1985 NES platform game, directed by Shigeru Miyamoto and the first game in the Super Mario series. Mini Mario is a small browser game based on Super Mario Bros., with eight stages and keyboard or gamepad controls. The Japanese README says the author used the original as a reference.
How it differs from the original
Mushrooms do not make Mario bigger and instead turn him into a small fire Mario who cannot shoot. The screen can also scroll left, and the only enemies are Goomba, Spiny, Bullet Bill and Bowser.
Getting started
Play it in the browser on the project's GitHub Pages site. Space starts, Z jumps, Shift dashes and the arrow keys move; a separate Windows executable also supports mouse control.
