Grand Theft Auto III is a 2001 open-world action-adventure game developed by DMA Design and published by Rockstar Games, the first 3D game in the series. OpenRW is a cross-platform, open-source re-implementation of Grand Theft Auto III, ported to Linux, macOS, Windows and several BSD variants. It is only partially complete, and development has halted.
Getting started
A legitimate copy of the original PC game is required; without it OpenRW cannot be played. The project wiki has a Getting Started guide and a tracker listing which missions are completable.
