About
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a multiplayer first-person shooter, released as a freeware standalone game in 2003 after starting as a planned expansion for Return to Castle Wolfenstein. OpenWolf is a heavily updated id Tech 3 game engine, forked from ET:XreaL, a project that brought XreaL enhancements to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. It is a hobby project that adds bug fixes and modern conveniences, supports 64-bit Windows 10 and Ubuntu-based Linux, and development has halted.
Getting started
It is built from source with CMake, which generates a makefile or a Visual Studio 2019 solution; only x64 builds are supported, and on first run CMake asks for the application name, stage and version.
Additional notes
- License
- The project inherits GPL v3 from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and the ET:XreaL mod.
