About
Raze targets several different Build-engine games from the 1990s — including Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage, and Exhumed/PowerSlave, plus NAM and WWII GI — originally built on Ken Silverman's Build engine and published by studios including 3D Realms, Monolith Productions, and GT Interactive. Raze is a modernized, cross-platform source port that runs multiple Build-engine games — Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage, Exhumed/PowerSlave, NAM, and WWII GI — on GZDoom's underlying engine technology, drawing on separate reconstructed source releases (JFDuke/EDuke32, NBlood, PCExhumed, SWP/VoidSW, Rednukem) for each supported game. It supports online multiplayer and runs on Windows and macOS.
Getting started
You'll need the original game data files for whichever supported title you want to play (Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage, or Exhumed/PowerSlave). Build instructions are maintained on the project's wiki, and its Discord server and forum are the main places to get help.
