About
Sonic Adventure is a 1998 platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Dreamcast, the first main Sonic game to feature 3D gameplay, following Sonic and five other playable characters against the ancient evil Chaos. SA Tools is a toolkit for extracting and modifying data from the Sonic Adventure series of games, intended for users with a basic understanding of 3D graphics concepts. It's distributed as prebuilt x86/x64 Windows binaries requiring the .NET Desktop Runtime, and can also be built from source in Visual Studio.
Getting started
Download the prebuilt SA Tools package (x86 or x64) along with the matching .NET Desktop Runtime, then use the included utilities to create modding projects or rip game assets, following the project's wiki guides.
