About

Space Station Silicon Valley is a 1998 Nintendo 64 platform game developed by DMA Design, in which the player controls Evo, a robot reduced to a crawling microchip, who takes control of animals to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. This is a work-in-progress decompilation of the Space Station Silicon Valley N64 ROM, rebuilding its compiled code into readable, compilable C. Progress is roughly 14% ahead of a fully byte-matching build in the project's non-matching mode, and an EU ROM build is also supported, though with minimal decompilation effort so far.

Getting started

Building requires placing a legally-owned US 1.0 ROM copy in the project folder and running the provided build commands (natively on Ubuntu, via WSL2, or via Docker) to produce a playable ROM.

Requires original assets. You must legally own a copy of the original game; US 1.0 ROM is required.

Additional notes

Technical
Five known ROM versions exist, including an unreleased Japanese prototype and an unconfirmed prototype; only the US and EU versions were ever publicly released.
