Star Control II: The Ur-Quan Masters is a 1992 adventure/shoot-em-up sequel to Star Control, developed by Toys for Bob and published by Accolade for MS-DOS, featuring exoplanet-rich star systems, hyperspace travel, and interstellar diplomacy among 25 alien races. star-control2 is a Windows remake of Star Control 2 built by combining several of the author's own previously developed engine components -- U-gine (extended with an OpenAL audio manager), an Input Manager (extended with a GUI manager), and an ECS/state-machine scene system taken from the Dodger project. It is currently at version 1.0 and listed as unplayable.
Getting started
Player controls are configured by setting ASCII key codes in a configuration file; keys that require Shift are not currently supported, and special keys like Enter and the arrow keys need separate configuration.
