About

Sokoban is a 1981 puzzle game created by Hiroyuki Imabayashi in which the player pushes boxes, one at a time, from a top-down view onto storage locations without creating an unsolvable deadlock. matszpk-sokoban is a terminal-based Sokoban implementation written in Rust, rendering levels with ANSI semigraphic characters. It can load levelsets in either the standard XSB text format or the XML-based SLC format.

Getting started

Run it from the terminal with `sokoban levelsetfile`, pointing at a level set in XSB or SLC format. Controls are the arrow keys to move, Backspace to undo the last move, Escape to cancel the current level, Q to quit, and F1 or ? for help. An ANSI-capable terminal is required to render levels correctly.
