Based on Wipeout

About

Wipeout is a 1995 racing game developed and published by Psygnosis for the PlayStation, the first entry in the Wipeout series and a PAL-region console launch title, later ported to MS-DOS and Saturn. HexGL is a futuristic racing game built with HTML5 and WebGL by developer Thibaut Despoulain, playable directly in a browser. Development has been in hiatus since its stable release, though the author says outside issues and patches are still welcome.

Getting started

To run it locally, clone the repository, start a simple Python HTTP server from the project folder, and open the game in a browser such as Chromium; swapping in the included full-size texture folder enables higher-resolution graphics.
